| The Railway Company Crest | |

The company crest has been through a number of versions during its life but I finally settled on this one. It comprises the traditional garter, inspired by many similar used by the old railway companies, surrounding a view looking forward from the cab of a Decauville tank locomotive. The Decauville type was chosen because it was the loco which started me off in 009 and the view was chosen because it's unusual. A previous incarnation of the crest had a front elevation of the loco in a garter surmounted by the Welsh feathers, Festiniog style. The present version was produced on CAD with dimensions derived from the original sketch but of course, it's a lot neater than the hand-drawn one!
