Tyddyn-Glas Cutting
Locomotives work hard through Tyddyn-Glas Cutting, lifting the train up the gradient from the standing start at Llanmynach and round a blind curve. Caution is needed as there is always the possibility that a sheep has found its way to the bottom of the cutting. Conversely, returning trains can breathe more easily as they drop down the gradient on the final approach to the terminus.
Return down the line, return to the map or continue up the line.

The home signal clanks to danger and the crew can relax as 'Sir Theodore' with her train of slate wagons drops the last few yards down the gradient through Tyddyn-Glas Cutting towards Llanmynach, whilst in the distance, the Ffernol Valley basks in the calm sunshine of a perfect summer's afternoon.
