Llanmynach & Tawel-llety Railway

Modern Welsh Flag
Cefn Glas
The railway runs onto a narrow mountain ledge, hard-won from the unforgiving rock and the train picks it way carefully along the ledge. The locomotive crew are at pains to not slacken the pace but have to find a cautious balance and not lose momentum. The railway has climbed high into the hills and after a spectacular journey with views across the valley, the approach to Mynydd-yn-Bwlch is signified by crossing a bridge carrying the stream which cascades the one hundred and fifty feet down into the valley.
Return down the line, return to the map or continue up the line.
